We love our planet. We love fashion. We believe this love relationship can co-exist as long as we know what we buy and wear. And for this transparency is key. That’s why we make sure that our pieces created by our independent and ethical designers are clean, safe, fair and as transparent as possible. You all have the right to know #whomadeyourclothes, how, where and under what conditions our pieces were made. 🌍 Earth day is everyday!

Manimekala is an accessory and womenswear brand based in London.
The brand combines aesthetics and ethics. The pieces empower both wearers and makers. The brand works with social enterprises and tells the stories behind the products, connecting the customer with the creator, and explaining the significance of each piece, and the social impact that their purchase has on the community that made it. The designer describes her personal style as colorful, maximalist, feminine, maybe crazy but always wearable. She believes that we choose what we want to wear based on our values and beliefs, and shopping small, independent, unique brands and second-hand or vintage pieces makes your wardrobe more special and meaningful and that you will love those pieces more.
Despite of being a fashion designer primarily, making jewelry has always been very instinctive and natural to her brand Manimekala. She likes creating an entire world to bring her vision to life, which includes clothes, bags, jewelry, shoes for starters. The jewelry designs for Ipseity are a part of her Spring Summer 2020 collection which she recently presented at London Fashion Week. They are all created from the leftover materials from previous collections as well as bits that she collected during her time working in the industry. Sustainability is one of the core values for the brand. Although the materials used are not considered sustainable, she believes that the most sustainable thing to do is to re-use, wear and love what already exists.
